Nitotv not updating who is boris becker dating
After doing an untethered jailbreak on my Apple TV 2G (ATV2) with Green Pois0n RC6, I noticed that if I rebooted the Apple TV my wifi would not reconnect.Disconnecting the power and plugging back in would not resolve the issue. You shouldn't need to do both fixes (the commands above and the Open SSH install), but it also shouldn't hurt anything. On Wednesday 16th February 2011, @nito TV said: the wifi fix is live!!You have two options: On PC: If you have a PC, then grab Putty and use it to SSH on to your Apple TV and follow the above steps. If you wish to perform an update at a later date you can either connect, via USB, to your Mac/PC and perform a restore/update or alternatively SSH on to your Apple TV and remove the line you added above. You can later perform updates by selecting 'Update All' again in the Nito TV software menu, which will automatically upgrade every installed package including Rowmote Helper.
So if you haven't already flashed, just go ahead and use 6.1 and it should include the wifi fix.
Additionally, you can always flash RC 6.1 over your current setup, but I find it easier just to either remove/install nitotv or install Open SSH from the nito TV menu.
Update (2/16/2010): Nito TV recently posted on their twitter account the the wifi issue appears to be related to SSH -- they recommend that you grab Open SSH from the top of the nito TV featured list and reboot to fix the wifi issues.
You’ve jailbroken your Apple TV and don’t want it to keep bugging you about that new i OS update since you’re a) not bothered about a new feature, b) are happy with how you’ve got your ATV configured, or c) are sick of being told every few minutes that there’s an update available.
Regardless of your reason, thankfully there is a way to stop your Apple TV from looking for updates, and by having already jailbroken your Apple TV, the process is relatively simple.
